Monica has been in the investment industry since 1998. With more than 25 years of financial services experience, she has helped her clients through various stages of their life by gaining an understanding of their risk behaviors and creating a personalized investment strategy. Monica’s goal is to help clients create portfolios and legacies that align with their vast needs, family values, and investment risk tolerance with the highest level of professionalism. In addition to working with families and individual investors, she also works closely with the board of trustees for nonprofit organizations and special districts, helping them to ensure their portfolios are closely aligned with the investment policy statement.
Monica holds Series 7, 9 & 10, 63, and 65 securities licenses. Having obtained the Certified Retirement Counselor® designation, she is well versed in retirement planning, fundamentals of investments, retirement plan design, retirement income management, and guidance on counseling and education practices.
James began his investment industry career in 2022 and joined Stifel in 2023. Prior to joining Stifel, he was a Retirement Account Specialist at Principal Financial Group. Before becoming a financial advisor with the team, James worked as a Client Service Associate at the Fresno, California, branch. He holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.
James follows a client-centric approach, assisting clients by creating customized wealth management strategies designed around their needs, risk tolerance, and financial objectives. He believes it is important to balance risk and reward, based on their individual financial goals and market conditions. James helps clients pursue long-term growth by prioritizing sustainable wealth accumulation over short-term speculation.
Outside the office, James enjoys reading, particularly biographies, history, psychology, and non-fiction. He also likes going to the gym, hiking, long evening walks, and cooking.
Amy began her financial services career in 1991 and joined Stifel in 2008. Throughout her career, she has seen the industry grow and change and has had the opportunity to expand her knowledge of assisting clients with their account-related needs. She enjoys having direct contact with the team’s clients and having face-to-face connections. She attended the College of the Sequoias.
Active in the community, Amy serves as a Vestry member for her church, St. Paul’s Anglican Church, in Visalia, California. She also serves at St. Paul’s School as a school board member. There are many roles to fill, but Amy focuses on youth and elderly folks. The impact of interacting with these age groups is fulfilling and serves an important role in bringing everyone together.
